ROOM-BY-ROOM RULES
UPSTAIRS
1. Don’t run and don’t jump off the top bunks—you’ll sound like a herd of
elephants to the people downstairs!
2. Don’t take any food or pop upstairs—there’ll be ants EVERYWHERE!
3. Don’t leave anything on the floor during the day or you’ll end up on
the pig pen list.
4. At night, make sure all of the aisles are entirely cleared or you’ll kill
yourself and everybody else during the fire drill!
5. For the same reason, don’t put hangers on the end of your bed—use a closet.
6. If your towel is wet, you can hang it on the end of your bed.
7. Quiet time is from 1:00~3:00 pm, please be courteous.
8. There is absolutely no talking after lights out—most of us will be exhausted!
9. NO ONE, other than members of Troop 327 and the Scout Coordinator,
is allowed upstairs except those being given a brief tour.
Lost and Found
Upstairs, the table near the stairs serves as lost and found. If you find
something, put it there (if you find something valuable, like money or a wallet,
give it to an advidor). If you lose something, check the table. Lost items also show
up on the mantle in the dining hall, so you can check there as well.

GENERAL DOWNSTAIRS
1. You must wear shoes at all times—remember, this is a horse-powered Island!
2. Always look decent—you never know who might be around.
3. Don’t leave your belongings downstairs or you may never see them again.
4. All visitors must be OK’d by the person-in-charge.
CRAFT ROOM/FIRST AID ROOM
1. Off limits. (Ask an Advisor if you need something)
2. Knock first if the door is closed.
SCOUT COORDINATOR'S ROOM
Absolutely off limits unless you’re invited.
SPORTS CLOSET
There is a closet under the stairs (sorry, Harry Potter doesn't live there) filled with many different types of sports equipment. The equipment is available daily for Scout use. If there is something specific you want to do, though, you’re better off bringing your own equipment.
ADVISORS' ROOM
Absolutely off limits unless:
1. You’re doing kapers
2. You need First Aid or Medications
3. You are otherwise invited.
No matter the reason you are going in, always knock first.
LAUNDRY ROOM AND BATHROOMS
1. Always clean up after yourself—no one likes using a messy bathroom
2. Don’t go in when the floor is wet (a bench will be blocking the door)
3. Keep your showers short and if possible, avoid mornings and
nights—54 Scouts are sharing 6 stalls
4. All white laundry must be downstairs after morning flags
5. All khaki laundry must be downstairs by dinner
6. Only uniform parts will be washed. You can use laundry sink
for ‘emergency’ laundry of other clothes.
7. If something doesn’t work (clogged showers, sinks, etc.) alert an Advisor.
